Alpine Ski: creation of a new Ski in Europe

four - not only Alpine skiing - but generally ski enthusiasts States, France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, have formed a group to the new European Ski European Ski Federation (ESF) to green be. The association was founded in Munich, but is have its future headquarters in Geneva. The board of the association is composed of the presidents of associations, Methiaz Alain (France), Giovanni Morzenti (Italy), Urs Lehmann (Switzerland) and Peter Schröcksnadel (Austria) together. Peter Schröcksnadel was chosen from a first president of the newly founded association. Officially, the ESF sees as an association, which aims at a broad base for cooperation with other associations as well as open or is seeking such cooperation. As objectives, the Association has defined the promotion of skiing and winter tourism in Europe and Acting in a reinforced international Skigestöber. Meanwhile, the Swiss Daniel Albrecht recovered from his crash in Kitzbuehel.

The Alpine skiing-runners suffered in his crash on 22 January, a skull-brain trauma and pulmonary contusion and was then treated in the intensive care unit at University Hospital in Innsbruck. On 15 February was handed down, the patient then to University Hospital in Bern. On 29 April 2009, Daniel Albrecht discharged from the hospital. Although he is still in the hospital in Leukerbad is on rehabilitation, the 25-year-old is already thinking again in a comeback. Whether this proves to be feasible and appropriate to be seen. Albrecht himself, however, is full of hope and confidence to run good and is now planning an initiative to support two charities for brain injury. As confident as the combined 2007 World Champion Daniel Albrecht itself, we should be. I for one hope Daniel Albrecht every success in the future, a good rest and good luck in his rehabilitation and for his comeback (if there is one)!
